He says his goal is to help those at all developmental ranges \u2014 from beginners to advanced users \u2014 learn new skills and techniques in a concise manner. The following video is a tutorial of the previous film:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Matosevic says his ultimate goal in creating these animated shorts is to make his viewers \u201chave a laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough rough times that we are going through at the moment, it is nice to just let yourself go for a few moments and enjoy a short animation,\u201d he said. \u201cSure, the jokes may be terrible, and a lot of people groan, but I am a dad, and that is part of my responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><b>Optimized Rendering and Seamless Workflow<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Initially, Matosevic relied primarily on Blender for 3D modeling and Unreal Engine 4 for his work. It wasn\u2019t until he upgraded to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/geforce\/graphics-cards\/30-series\/rtx-3080-3080ti\/\">NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti GPU<\/a> that he saw the possibility of integrating the NVIDIA Omniverse platform into his toolbox.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat really got me interested was that NVIDIA [Omniverse] had its own render engine, which I assumed that my 3080 would be optimized for,\u201d he said. \u201cI was able to create an amazing scene with little effort.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With NVIDIA Omniverse, Matosevic can export whole scenes from Unreal Engine into Omniverse without having to deal with complex shaders, as he would\u2019ve had to do if he were solely working in Blender.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the iClone and Blender connectors, Matosevic uses NVIDIA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/omniverse\/apps\/machinima\/\">Omniverse Machinima<\/a>, an application that allows content creators to collaborate in real time to animate and manipulate characters along with their environments inside of virtual worlds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like it because with a few simple clicks, I can start the rendering process and know that I am going to have something amazing when it is finished,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/usd\">Universal Scene Description<\/a>, an open-source 3D scene description for creating virtual worlds, these applications and connectors work seamlessly together to bring elevated results.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have created animated short films using Blender and Unreal Engine 4, but Omniverse has just raised the quality to a new level,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Join In on the Creation<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Creators across the world can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/omniverse\/creators\/\">download NVIDIA Omniverse for free<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/omniverse\/enterprise\/\">Enterprise teams<\/a> can use the platform for their 3D projects.<\/p>\n<p>Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/omniverse\/gallery-submissions\/\">works from other artists<\/a> using NVIDIA Omniverse and submit your own work with #MadeInOmniverse to be featured in the gallery.<\/p>\n<p>Join us at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/events\/siggraph\/\">SIGGRAPH 2022<\/a> to learn how Omniverse, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/design-visualization\/\">design and visualization<\/a> solutions, are driving advanced breakthroughs in graphics workflows and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/gpu-accelerated-applications\/\">GPU-accelerated software<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Connect your workflows to NVIDIA Omniverse with software from Adobe, Autodesk, Epic Games, Maxon, Reallusion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/omniverse\/#apps-connectors\">and more<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Follow NVIDIA Omniverse on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/nvidiaomniverse\/\">Instagram<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nvidiaomniverse\">Twitter<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCSKUoczbGAcMld7HjpCR8OA\">YouTube<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@nvidiaomniverse\">Medium<\/a> for additional resources and inspiration.
