{"id":3101,"date":"2023-08-04T19:40:44","date_gmt":"2023-08-04T19:40:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/salarydistribution.com\/machine-learning\/2023\/08\/04\/nvidia-ceo-jensen-huang-returns-to-siggraph\/"},"modified":"2023-08-04T19:40:44","modified_gmt":"2023-08-04T19:40:44","slug":"nvidia-ceo-jensen-huang-returns-to-siggraph","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salarydistribution.com\/machine-learning\/2023\/08\/04\/nvidia-ceo-jensen-huang-returns-to-siggraph\/","title":{"rendered":"NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Returns to SIGGRAPH"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-url=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/blog\/2023\/08\/04\/jensen-huang-siggraph\/\" data-title=\"NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Returns to SIGGRAPH\" data-hashtags=\"\">\n<p>One pandemic and one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/glossary\/data-science\/generative-ai\/\">generative AI<\/a> revolution later, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang returns to the SIGGRAPH stage next week to deliver a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/events\/siggraph\/\">live keynote<\/a> at the world\u2019s largest professional graphics conference.<\/p>\n<p>The address, slated for Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 8 a.m. PT in Los Angeles, will feature an exclusive look at some of NVIDIA\u2019s newest breakthroughs, including award-winning research, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/omniverse\/usd\/\">OpenUSD<\/a> developments and the latest AI-powered solutions for content creation.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_65892\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-65892\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/jensen-huang-headshot-2-400x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-65892\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Huang\u2019s address comes after NVIDIA joined forces last week with Pixar, Adobe, Apple and Autodesk to found the <a href=\"https:\/\/nvidianews.nvidia.com\/news\/aousd-to-drive-open-standards-for-3d-content\">Alliance for OpenUSD<\/a>, a major leap toward unlocking the next era of interoperability in 3D graphics, design and simulation.<\/p>\n<p>The group will standardize and extend OpenUSD, the open-source Universal Scene Description framework that\u2019s the foundation of interoperable 3D applications and projects ranging from visual effects to industrial digital twins.<\/p>\n<p>Huang will also offer a perspective on what\u2019s been a raucous year for AI, with wildly popular new generative AI applications \u2014 including ChatGPT and Midjourney \u2014 providing a taste of what\u2019s to come as developers worldwide get to work.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the conference, NVIDIA will participate in sessions on immersive visualization, 3D interoperability and AI-mediated video conferencing and presenting 20 research papers.
