Digital is represented by AI agents, while physical AI is represented by robotics.<\/p>\n<p>He said Japan is poised to create both types, leveraging its unique language, culture and data.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery industry, every company, every country must produce a new industrial revolution,\u201d Huang said, pointing to AI as the catalyst for this shift.<\/p>\n<p>Huang emphasized Japan\u2019s unique position to lead in this AI-driven economy, praising the country\u2019s history of innovation and engineering excellence as well as its technological and cultural panache.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t imagine a better country to lead the robotics AI revolution than Japan,\u201d Huang said. \u201cYou have created some of the world\u2019s best robots. These are the robots we grew up with, the robots we\u2019ve loved our whole lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Huang highlighted the potential of agentic AI\u2014advanced digital agents capable of understanding, reasoning, planning, and taking action\u2014to transform productivity across industries.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that these agents can tackle complex, multi-step tasks, effectively doing \u201c50% of the work for 100% of the people,\u201d turbocharging human productivity.<\/p>\n<p>By turning data into actionable insights, agentic AI offers companies powerful tools to enhance operations without replacing human roles.<\/p>\n<h3><b>SoftBank and NVIDIA to Build Japan\u2019s Largest AI Supercomputer<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Among the summit\u2019s major announcements was <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nvidianews.nvidia.com\/news\/nvidia-and-softbank-accelerate-japans-journey-to-global-ai-powerhouse\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA\u2019s collaboration with SoftBank<\/a> to build Japan\u2019s most powerful AI supercomputer.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_75571\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-75571\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-75571\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/0K3A0215-1-960x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"350\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-75571\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang showcases Blackwell, the company\u2019s advanced AI supercomputing platform, at the AI Summit Japan in Tokyo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Using the NVIDIA Blackwell platform, SoftBank\u2019s DGX SuperPOD will deliver extensive computing power to drive sovereign AI initiatives, including large language models (LLMs) specifically designed for Japan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith your support, we are creating the largest AI data center here in Japan,\u201d said Son, a visionary who, as Huang noted, has been a part of every major technology revolution of the past half-century.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe should provide this platform to many of those researchers, the students, the startups, so that we can encourage \u2026 so that they have a better access [to] much more compute.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Huang noted that the AI supercomputer project is just one part of the collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>SoftBank also successfully piloted the world\u2019s first combined AI and 5G network, known as AI-RAN (radio access network).
