{"id":4027,"date":"2025-06-11T12:40:58","date_gmt":"2025-06-11T12:40:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/salarydistribution.com\/machine-learning\/2025\/06\/11\/nvidia-ceo-drops-the-blueprint-for-europes-ai-boom\/"},"modified":"2025-06-11T12:40:58","modified_gmt":"2025-06-11T12:40:58","slug":"nvidia-ceo-drops-the-blueprint-for-europes-ai-boom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/salarydistribution.com\/machine-learning\/2025\/06\/11\/nvidia-ceo-drops-the-blueprint-for-europes-ai-boom\/","title":{"rendered":"NVIDIA CEO Drops the Blueprint for Europe\u2019s AI Boom"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n\t\t<span class=\"bsf-rt-reading-time\"><span class=\"bsf-rt-display-label\"><\/span> <span class=\"bsf-rt-display-time\"><\/span> <span class=\"bsf-rt-display-postfix\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>At GTC Paris \u2014 held alongside VivaTech, Europe\u2019s largest tech event \u2014 NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang delivered a clear message: Europe isn\u2019t just adopting AI \u2014 it\u2019s building it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe now have a new industry, an AI industry, and it\u2019s now part of the new infrastructure, called intelligence infrastructure, that will be used by every country, every society,\u201d Huang said, addressing an audience gathered online and at the iconic D\u00f4me de Paris.<\/p>\n<p>From exponential inference growth to quantum breakthroughs, and from infrastructure to industry, agentic AI to robotics, Huang outlined how the region is laying the groundwork for an AI-powered future.<\/p>\n<h2>A New Industrial Revolution<\/h2>\n<p>At the heart of this transformation, Huang explained, are systems like GB200 NVL72 \u2014 \u201cone giant GPU\u201d and NVIDIA\u2019s most powerful AI platform yet \u2014 now in full production and powering everything from sovereign models to quantum computing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis machine was designed to be a thinking machine, a thinking machine, in the sense that it reasons, it plans, it spends a lot of time talking to itself,\u201d Huang said, walking the audience through the size and scale of these machines and their performance.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_82242\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-82242\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-82242\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/gtc25-paris-jhh-keynote-10-press-5120X2880-960x540.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-82242\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">At GTC Paris, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang shows audience members the innards of some of NVIDIA\u2019s latest hardware.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>There\u2019s more coming, with Huang saying NVIDIA\u2019s partners are now producing 1,000 GB200 systems a week, \u201cand this is just the beginning,\u201d walking the audience through a range of available systems ranging from the tiny DGX Spark to rack-mounted <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/data-center\/products\/rtx-pro-server\/\" rel=\"noopener\">RTX PRO Servers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Huang explained that NVIDIA is working to help countries use technologies like these to build both AI infrastructure \u2014 services built for third parties to use and innovate on \u2014 and AI factories, which companies build for their own use, to generate revenue.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nvidianews.nvidia.com\/news\/nvidia-dgx-cloud-lepton-connects-europes-developers-to-global-nvidia-compute-ecosystem\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA is partnering with European governments, telcos and cloud providers<\/a> to deploy NVIDIA technologies across the region. NVIDIA is also expanding its network of technology centers across Europe \u2014 including new hubs in Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy and the U.K. \u2014 to accelerate skills development and quantum growth.<\/p>\n<h2>Quantum Meets Classical<\/h2>\n<p>Europe\u2019s quantum ambitions just got a boost.<\/p>\n<p>The <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/cuda-q\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA CUDA-Q<\/a> platform is <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/blog\/ansys-dcai-quantum-computing\/\">live on Denmark\u2019s Gefion supercomputer,<\/a> opening new possibilities for hybrid AI and quantum engineering, and Huang announced that CUDA-Q is now available on NVIDIA Grace Blackwell systems.<\/p>\n<p>Across the continent, NVIDIA is partnering with supercomputing centers and quantum hardware builders to advance hybrid quantum-AI research and accelerate quantum error correction, Huang said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQuantum computing is reaching an inflection point,\u201d Huang said. \u201cWe are within reach of being able to apply quantum computing, quantum classical computing, in areas that can solve some interesting problems in the coming years.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Sovereign Models, Smarter Agents<\/h2>\n<p>European developers want more control over their models. Enter NVIDIA Nemotron, designed to help build <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/glossary\/large-language-models\/\" rel=\"noopener\">large language models<\/a> tuned to local needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd so now you know that you have access to an enhanced open model that is still open, that is top of the leader chart,\u201d Huang said.<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nvidianews.nvidia.com\/news\/nvidia-partners-with-europe-model-builders-and-cloud-providers-to-accelerate-regions-leap-into-ai\" rel=\"noopener\">These models will be coming to Perplexity<\/a>, a reasoning search engine, enabling secure, multilingual AI deployment across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can now ask and get questions answered in the language, in the culture, in the sensibility of your country,\u201d Huang said.<\/p>\n<p>More\u2019s coming. Every company will build its own agents, Huang said. To help create those agents, Huang introduced a suite of agentic AI blueprints, including an Agentic AI Safety blueprint for enterprises and governments.<\/p>\n<p>The new NVIDIA NeMo Agent toolkit and NVIDIA AI Blueprint for building data flywheels further accelerate the development of safe, high-performing AI agents.<\/p>\n<p>To help deploy these agents, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nvidianews.nvidia.com\/news\/nvidia-dgx-cloud-lepton-connects-europes-developers-to-global-nvidia-compute-ecosystem\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA is partnering with European governments, telcos and cloud providers<\/a> to deploy the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/data-center\/dgx-cloud-lepton\/\" rel=\"noopener\">DGX Cloud Lepton<\/a> platform across the region, providing instant access to accelerated computing capacity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne model architecture, one deployment, and you can run it anywhere,\u201d Huang said, adding that Lepton is now integrated with Hugging Face, giving developers direct access to global compute.<\/p>\n<h2>The Industrial Cloud Goes Live<\/h2>\n<p>AI isn\u2019t just virtual. It\u2019s powering physical systems, too, sparking a \u201cnew industrial revolution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re working on industrial AI with one company after another,\u201d Huang said, describing work to build digital twins based on NVIDIA Omniverse with companies across the continent.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_82249\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-82249\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-82249 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/gtc25-paris-jhh-keynote-9-fb-ig-2048x2048-1-400x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-82249\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">During his keynote, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang explained that everything he showed during the keynote was \u201ccomputer simulation, not animation\u201d and that it looks beautiful because \u201cit turns out the world is beautiful, and it turns out math is beautiful.\u201d<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>To further this work, Huang announced NVIDIA is <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nvidianews.nvidia.com\/news\/nvidia-builds-worlds-first-industrial-ai-cloud-to-advance-european-manufacturing\" rel=\"noopener\">launching the world\u2019s first industrial AI cloud<\/a> \u2014 to be built in Germany \u2014 to help Europe\u2019s manufacturers simulate, automate and optimize at scale.<\/p>\n<p>More\u2019s coming. \u201cSoon, everything that moves will be robotic,\u201d Huang said. \u201cAnd the car is the next one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/solutions\/autonomous-vehicles\/\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA DRIVE<\/a>, NVIDIA\u2019s full-stack AV platform, is <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/blog\/drive-full-stack-av-software-europe\/\">now in production<\/a> to accelerate the large-scale deployment of safe, intelligent transportation.<\/p>\n<p>And to show what\u2019s coming next, Huang was joined on stage by Grek, a pint-sized robot, as Huang talked about how NVIDIA partnered with DeepMind and Disney to build Newton, the world\u2019s most advanced physics training engine for robotics.<\/p>\n<h2>The Next Wave<\/h2>\n<p>The next wave of AI has begun \u2014 and it\u2019s exponential, Huang explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have physical robots, and we have information robots. We call them agents,\u201d Huang said.\u00a0 \u201cThe technology necessary to teach a robot to manipulate, to simulate \u2014 and of course, the manifestation of an incredible robot \u2014 is now right in front of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This new era of AI is being driven by a surge in inference workloads. \u201cThe number of people using inference has gone from 8 million to 800 million \u2014 100 times in just a couple of years,\u201d Huang said.<\/p>\n<p>To meet this demand, Huang emphasized the need for a new kind of computer: \u201cWe need a special computer designed for thinking, designed for reasoning.
