Germany is ready.<\/p>\n<p>Following <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/blog\/ai-lights-up-europe\/\">London Tech Week<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/blog\/gtc-paris-2025\/\">GTC Paris at VivaTech<\/a>, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang\u2019s European tour continued with a stop in Germany to discuss with Chancellor Friedrich Merz new partnerships poised to bring breakthrough innovations on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nvidianews.nvidia.com\/news\/nvidia-builds-worlds-first-industrial-ai-cloud-to-advance-european-manufacturing\" rel=\"noopener\">the world\u2019s first industrial AI cloud<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This AI factory, to be located in Germany and operated by Deutsche Telekom, will enable Europe\u2019s industrial leaders to accelerate manufacturing applications including design, engineering, simulation, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/use-cases\/industrial-facility-digital-twins\/\" rel=\"noopener\">digital twins<\/a> and robotics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the era of AI, every manufacturer needs two factories: one for making things, and one for creating the intelligence that powers them,\u201d said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. \u201cBy building Europe\u2019s first industrial AI infrastructure, we\u2019re enabling the region\u2019s leading industrial companies to advance simulation-first, AI-driven manufacturing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEurope\u2019s technological future needs a sprint, not a stroll,\u201d said Timotheus H\u00f6ttges, CEO of Deutsche Telekom AG. \u201cWe must seize the opportunities of artificial intelligence now, revolutionize our industry and secure a leading position in the global technology competition. Our economic success depends on quick decisions and collaborative innovations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This AI infrastructure \u2014 Germany\u2019s single largest AI deployment \u2014 is an important leap for the nation in establishing its own <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/blog\/what-is-sovereign-ai\/\">sovereign AI<\/a> infrastructure and providing a launchpad to accelerate AI development and adoption across industries. In its first phase, it\u2019ll feature 10,000 <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/data-center\/technologies\/blackwell-architecture\/\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs<\/a> \u2014 spanning <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/data-center\/dgx-gb200\/\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA DGX GB200<\/a> systems and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/data-center\/products\/rtx-pro-server\/\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers<\/a> \u2014 as well as NVIDIA networking and AI software.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_82367\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-82367\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-82367\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.nvidia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/neura-robotics-960x540.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"540\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-82367\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">NEURA Robotics\u2019 training center for cognitive robots.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>NEURA Robotics, a Germany-based global pioneer in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/glossary\/generative-physical-ai\/\" rel=\"noopener\">physical AI<\/a> and cognitive robotics, will use the computing resources to power its state-of-the-art training centers for cognitive robots \u2014 a tangible example of how physical AI can evolve through powerful, connected infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>At this work\u2019s core is the Neuraverse, a seamlessly networked robot ecosystem that allows robots to learn from each other across a wide range of industrial and domestic applications. This platform creates an app-store-like hub for robotic intelligence \u2014 for tasks like welding and ironing \u2014 enabling continuous development and deployment of robotic skills in real-world environments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhysical AI is the electricity of the future \u2014 it will power every machine on the planet,\u201d said David Reger, founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics. \u201cThrough this initiative, we\u2019re helping build the sovereign infrastructure Europe needs to lead in intelligent robotics and stay in control of its future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Critical to Germany\u2019s competitiveness is AI technology development, including the expansion of data center capacity, according to a Deloitte study. This is strategically important because demand for data center capacity is expected to triple over the next five years to 5 gigawatts.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Driving Germany\u2019s Industrial Ecosystem<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Deutsche Telekom will operate the AI factory and provide AI cloud computing resources to Europe\u2019s industrial ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Customers will be able to run <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/technologies\/cuda-x\/\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA CUDA-X<\/a> libraries, as well as NVIDIA RTX- and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/omniverse\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Omniverse<\/a>-accelerated workloads from leading software providers such as Siemens, Ansys, Cadence and Rescale.<\/p>\n<p>Many more stand to benefit.
